Elizabeth’s Stroll in Ljubljana

Several thousand people gathered this afternoon in and around Prešeren Square to catch a glimpse of the British Monarch as she wound down her two-day visit to Slovenia. Earlier in the day, she was presented with a champion stallion from the original Lipizzaner stud farm in Lipica. With the Queen involved, perhaps the Whose Horses Are They argument will finally be brought to a close.

  1. The Queen in Slovenia. I guess it’s interesting when such figures appear, but really – she’s a little old lady who wouldn’t look out of place in my local. :)
